Sequoias won its fifth straight match by defeating Columbia 3-0 on Wednesday.
The Giants got off to a quick start in the first set, winning 25-15. The Claim Jumpers battled with COS in the second and third set, but Sequoias held serve winning 25-21 and 25-23.
It is the fourth 3-0 sweep this season for the Giants. With the victory, COS improves to 9-5 on the season and 7-3 in conference.
COS hit the road and travel to Porterville on Friday. The Pirates are currently tied for last place in the Central Valley Conference.
