Phoebe is currently a sophomore libero and defensive specialist on the COS women's volleyball team. Phoebe currently leads the team in digs this year with a total of 449 in nineteen matches. Her passing ability has gained the interest of four-year college coaches. Phoebe is apart of the COS Honors club Alpha Gamma Sigma in which she takes part in community service projects. She chose COS so she could continue playing volleyball while getting her education. Phoebe plans on playing volleyball at the four-year level while pursuing her bachelor's degree in liberal studies. After getting a bachelor's degree she would like to become a kindergarten or first-grade teacher. A little-known fact about Phoebe is she likes to cliff jump and recently did so last summer in Hawaii jumping into the ocean from over 50 feet up. Come watch Phoebe and the rest of her teammates this Friday, November 3rd at the COS Porter Field House when the Giants take on Reedley College at 6 p.m.
