College of the Sequoias women's basketball team had a March 26th home game against Cuesta canceled because of a positive test for Covid-19 within the Cougars' program.
The game has not been rescheduled.
The Giants (6-0) are now slated to wrap up their season with two games against Taft (0-7).
Sequoias will host Taft at Porter Field House at 3 p.m. March 31, and play at Taft at 3 p.m. April 1.
The Giants have the best record among the six teams across the state that opted to play this season, which was delayed and shortened because of safety precautions over the coronavirus pandemic.
A pair of freshman out of Hanford's Sierra Pacific High have led the way for Sequoias, with Celeste Lewis averaging 18.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, while Alana Roberts is averaging 14.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.0 blocks a game.
