COS Volleyball Weekly Update October 9
Women's Volleyball Weekly Update:
The Giants Women's Volleyball team had 2 matches over the past week winning both matches to improve their record to 9-7 on the season.
The first match of the week came against West Hills at home on Wednesday where the Giants swept the Golden Eagles 3 matches to none by final line scores of 25-13, 25-7, and 25-15. Cassidy Dolin of the Giants had a great all-around game as she led the team with 12.5 points, 9 kills, and 3 blocks.
The Giants second match of the week came on the road against Reedley where the Giants won 3 sets out of 4 by line scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-17. Several Giants had great games as 4 players registered double digits in points. Christa Pilgrim led the team with 15 points and 6 blocks. Dolin added 12 kills.
