Bio
Tommy Luu was named Assistant Athletic Director at the College of the Sequoias in the fall of 2023, bringing with him a background in student-athlete development and athletics administration. In his role, Luu has been instrumental in promoting the COS brand and ensuring the department operates efficiently through collaboration with coaches and staff. He oversees student-athlete eligibility, game management, and select fundraising initiatives, while also managing resources and supporting both athletic and academic success across the department.
Luu has also served as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at College of the Sequoias since 2017. During this time, he has taken on responsibilities, including handling various operational needs, managing game preparations, assisting with recruiting efforts, and supporting academic success for student-athletes. He earned his Master of Arts in Education from National University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management from San José State University.
