Bio
Michael Bedoya was hired as an assistant coach for the College of the Sequoias men’s basketball team in the summer of 2024. He previously served as an assistant coach at Dinuba High School, where he helped lead the team to a 104-20 record, three league championships, and the 2024 CIF Central Section Division II title. Bedoya specialized in player development, with a focus on shooting and post play, as well as opponent scouting. Prior to Dinuba, he spent four years as the Head Student Manager at UC Santa Barbara, where he gained experience in skill development and operations while working alongside professional trainers and NBA athletes. In addition to coaching, Bedoya is a 7th-grade history teacher and holds a Bachelor’s degree from UCSB and a Master’s in Education from UC Davis.
